CHARLOTTE
BOLTON
Yoga rooted in curiosity, connection, and the felt sense of being alive
YOGA TEACHER
MASSAGE THERAPIST
ABOUT CHARLOTTECharlotte Bolton teaches yoga in Somerset — in village halls, in sports studios, and outside in all weathers.
Some students come for the stillness of an indoor practice. Others walk to class by torchlight or under the moon, hear owls, and feel the cold. The setting changes; what doesn't is the quality of attention brought to it.
This is not performative yoga. It's yoga as an enquiry: a grounded practice of noticing, pausing, and listening. Charlotte doesn't instruct you into poses. She invites you into conversation with your own experience
PHILOSOPHYThe question Charlotte holds at the heart of every class is a simple one: what does it feel like to be in your body, right now?
Not the body you think you should have. Not the poses you think you should be able to do. Just this — breath, sensation, ground, presence.
Her teaching is enquiry-led, which means the class is never delivered. It's always a dialogue. Students learn that they have options, that they can pause, that their body's signals are information rather than something to push through. Over time, that changes things — not just on the mat, but everywhere else too.
Charlotte's quiet invitation to every student is this: now that you feel this connected, this alive — what are you going to do with it?

The thread running through everything she does is the same: connection, presence, and the felt sense of being alive.
